What is an authorization code?

It is the "key" of each domain so that only the owner of the domain can manage it.

How do you take it?

You request it in writing from your current provider and they are obliged to deliver it to you.

No contact with your current provider?

• For a .gr domain, do a search on www.gr and it will show you the contact details of the current provider.

• For .com you do a whois.com search and likewise it shows you the details of the current provider.

The same applies to the rest of the endings with minor exceptions.
